Where Curious Minds Become Confident Learners

Whether you are looking for a preschool that supports your child’s emotional growth or one that prepares them confidently for kindergarten, Little Roots Academy is here to guide that journey. Through purposeful, play based learning and research supported literacy foundations, we help children build the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to thrive now and in the years ahead.

Our Mission

Redefining  Early
Education for Our Children

Our mission is to nurture young minds by building strong academic foundations through age appropriate, hands on learning experiences.

We are committed to cultivating curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking in every child while laying the groundwork for future success in Math and English Language Arts.

Like roots that grow deep and strong, our students are supported and empowered to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Parents want their child to feel confident managing routines, making choices, and solving problems before kindergarten.

At Little Roots Academy, independence is built into each day. Through consistent routines and a Love and Logic inspired approach, children develop responsibility, confidence, and the skills to navigate school successfully.

Will my child learn independence and responsibility?

04

Parents want strong academics, but not at the cost of their child’s love of learning.

We believe learning should feel engaging, hands on, and developmentally appropriate. Our play based approach allows children to explore, ask questions, and build skills naturally. The result is confident learners who are excited to come to school.

Will learning feel joyful or pressured?

03

Sending your child to school for the first time can feel overwhelming. You want to know they will be nurtured, encouraged, and treated with care.

Our classrooms are designed to be safe, structured, and welcoming. We prioritize social emotional growth, emotional regulation, and positive guidance so children feel secure, valued, and confident each day.

Will my child feel safe, supported, and understood?

02

Many parents worry their child will either fall behind or feel overwhelmed when kindergarten begins.

At Little Roots Academy, we intentionally build strong foundations in early literacy, math, and classroom readiness. Through research informed instruction and purposeful play, children develop the academic skills, confidence, and independence they need to transition smoothly into kindergarten and beyond.

Will my child be truly prepared for kindergarten?

We Understand What Matters Most

Choosing a preschool is a big decision. As parents, you want more than a place for your child to spend the day. You want confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.

Taylor was a stay at home mom with a vision that was too big to keep to herself. She dreamed of bringing a one of a kind preschool to life in Emmett, Idaho. One built on real experience, intentional curriculum, and educators who truly loved what they do. So she built it from the ground up.

Today Taylor runs the everyday operations of Little Roots Academy and shows up for her school, her team, and her families with the same passion and dedication that started it all. She believes deeply that every child is extraordinary and deserves an education that meets them exactly as they are, celebrates who they are becoming, and builds them up every single day. Little Roots Academy was never just a vision. It became a dream to chase, and she is chasing it.

Outside of school Taylor loves spending time with her family, getting outdoors, and riding horses. And thanks to her husband and business partner Kaleb, you can find her cheering on Supercross every Saturday!
